An electronic apparatus which is placed in an operation wait state by fully closing a cover having an electrical component, and a method for grounding the electronic apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a cover-side contact element electrically connected to the electric component, and a body-side contact element electrically connected to a grounding member of the apparatus. Both contact elements are brought into contact with each other so as to electrically connect the electrical component with the grounding member of the apparatus when the cover is fully closed. Thus, grounding of the electrical component can be ensured without using a conductive wire for connecting the electrical component with the grounding member of the apparatus. Furthermore, a malfunction of the electrical component caused by an electrostatic charge is prevented, while reducing troublesome assembly work and the number of components. In addition, since the apparatus includes a switch comprising a displacement element provided on at least one of the two contact elements, the opened and closed positions of the cover can be detected in response to a displacement of the displacement element. Thus, an exclusive switching unit such as a microswitch and an operational member for actuating an actuator of the switching unit are not required. The apparatus can therefore detect a full closed position of the cover without increasing the number of components and the overall size of the apparatus.
Cette invention concerne un appareil électronique qui se met en attente lorsque son couvercle doté d'un composant électrique est complètement fermé et une méthode de mise à la masse dudit appareil. Celui-ci comprend un contact sur le côté du couvercle destiné à établir un contact électrique avec un contact de mise à la masse. Lorsque le couvercle est complètement fermé, les deux contacts se touchent de manière à établir un contact assurant la mise à la masse de l'appareil. Cette disposition constructive permet la mise à la masse sans avoir à recourir à un fil conducteur reliant le composant électrique au contact de mise à la masse. Par ailleurs, cela permet d'éviter un mauvais fonctionnement du composant électrique en raison d'une charge électrostatique tout en simplifiant l'assemblage de l'appareil et en réduisant le nombre de pièces nécessaires. De plus, comme l'appareil comporte un interrupteur prenant la forme d'une languette élastique solidaire d'au moins un des deux contacts susmentionnés, le déplacement de cette languette permet de signaler l'ouverture et la fermeture complète du couvercle. Ainsi, il n'est pas nécessaire de doter l'appareil d'un interrupteur dédié, tel qu'un microrupteur ni d'un actionneur dudit interrupteur. On peut donc assurer la détection de la fermeture complète du couvercle sans faire appel à un nombre plus grand de composants et sans augmenter l'encombrement de l'appareil.
