This electronic backup guide for trucks consists of a component box, power source, mechanically motion activated switch and L.E.D. Attached to a mounting arm affixed to any auger with a universal bracket, it provides precise truck positioning regardless of truck rear axle to end of box length. The mechanically activated switch mounted inside the component box has an extension protruding through the top of the box which is positioned flush with the end of the dump hopper by means of the adjustable arm. When any part of the rear of truck box touches the switch extension a red L.E.D. is illuminated on the end of an arm extending perpendicular from the main mounting arm. This indicates your desired position. The guide is modular, portable and is field rechargeable. Attachments are available to assist backing up to swing augers and for positioning hopper bottom trailers over small pit openings.
