An electronic ballast circuit (Fig. 1) includes a voltage-regulated DC power source and an H-bridge having a plurality of transistors (Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8). The circuit operates a high intensity discharge lamp (50). A regulating circuit electrically connected to the transistors regulates the peak current flowing through the H-bridge by discharging a parasitic capacitance (C parasitic).

L'invention concerne un circuit de ballast électronique (figure 1) comprenant une source de courant continu à tension régulée et un pont H présentant une pluralité de transistors (Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8). Le circuit actionne une lampe à décharge (50) haute intensité. Un circuit de régulation connecté électriquement aux transistors régule le courant de crête traversant le pont H, par déchargement d'une capacité parasite (C parasite).
