An electronic ballast is disclosed, for the operation of a lamp arrangement, comprising at least one lamp, in particular, a low-pressure discharge lamp and at least one transformer for balancing the lamp currents, whereby the transformer has two windings, provided for one or more lamps of the lamp arrangement. According to the invention, the transformer is embodied as a saturation balancing choke.

L'invention concerne un ballast électronique servant à faire fonctionner un luminaire composé d'au moins une lampe, en particulier une lampe à décharge basse pression, et d'au moins un transformateur destiné à symétriser les courants des lampes, ledit transformateur présentant deux enroulements associés à une ou plusieurs lampes du luminaire. Selon la présente invention, ce transformateur est conçu sous la forme d'une inductance de symétrisation/saturation.
