An electronic bordering system (1) for a working tool (2), in which a border cable (3), i.e. an electric cable, is placed above, under or on ground or floor, so that it separates an inner area (4) within the border cable (3) from an outer area (5). The working tool is preferably intended for attendance of ground or floor, such as grass-cutting, vacuum-cleaning, etc. A signal generator (6) feeds the border cable with current, whose magnetic field (7) affects at least one sensing unit (8) located on the working tool, so that the sensing unit emits signals (9) to a control unit (10), which in cooperation with an engine control (11), or a signal system for a driver, and at least one driving source (12, 13) directs the tool's movement in order to prevent it from remoting from the inner area. The signal generator feeds the border cable with current containing at least two alternating-current components (14, 15) of different frequency, and the components are lying in a known relation of time to each other. Thereby the control unit can evaluate the difference in the signals (9) caused by the magnetic field's different directions in the inner area (4) and the outer area (5), and the control unit can emit an area signal (16), which mainly takes up one of two states depending on the position of the sensing unit in relation to the border cable, i.e. an outer area state (17) or an inner area state (18).
L'invention porte sur un système électronique de délimitation (1) de l'aire d'évolution d'un outil individuel (2) dans lequel un câble électrique délimiteur (3) placé au-dessus, sur ou sous le sol ou le plancher délimite une zone (3) enclose par le câble, et une zone (5) extérieure au câble. L'outil individuel est normalement du type évoluant sur le sol ou un plancher tel qu'une tondeuse à gazon ou un aspirateur. Un générateur de signaux (6) envoie dans le câble un courant dont le champ magnétique (7) agit sur au moins une unité de détection (8) placée dans l'outil et qui émet à son tour des signaux (9) en direction d'une unité (10) commandant la marche (11) du moteur (11) ou d'un système d'alarme pour l'opérateur, et au moins une source directionnelle (12, 13) agissant sur les mouvements de l'outil pour l'empêcher de quitter la zone (3) enclose par le câble. Le générateur de signaux fournit au câble un courant comportant au moins deux composantes alternatives (14, 15) de fréquences différentes et présentant entre elles une relation temporelle connue. L'unité de commande (10) peut ainsi évaluer les variations des signaux (9) dues à la différence d'orientation du champ magnétique dans la zone enclose (4) et dans la zone extérieure (5), et émettre un signal de zone (16) qui prend principalement l'un de deux états selon la position de l'unité de détection par rapport au câble, à savoir un état correspondant à la zone extérieure (17), et un état correspondant à la zone enclose (18).
