A control system for a coffee brewer having a microprocessor in which the water heated in the heater tank must be a predetermined temperature before brewing. A double brewing cycle is prevented. Upon the system not being activated for a period of time, i.e., the water temperature is allowed to drop agreater magnitude for energy saving and component protection.

Cette invention concerne un système de commande de cafetière électrique à microprocesseur qui empêche l'infuseur de se déclencher avant que la température de l'eau n'atteigne une valeur prédéterminée et qui prévient ainsi le fonctionnement à double cycle d'infusion. Au bout d'un intervalle d'inactivité donné, le système permet à la température de l'eau de baisser pour favoriser les économies d'énergie et la protection des composants.
