ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an array of simulated candles, utilizing light bulbs, which allows the user to turn on any selected light bulb merely by pointing a wand close to the light bulb to be turned on. Once turned on the light bulbs are caused to flicker in a manner which simulates very realistically the flickering of candle flames, including the increase and decrease of the illumination of all of the light bulbs (or selected groups or light bulbs if desired) which are observable in an array of candles during random breezes encountered by the candles in a room.
