Electronic Control for a Compressor Lubricant Heater Abstract An electronic control for a heater provided to raise the temperature of a lubricant of a compressor. The control comprises a source of electrical energy; and a solid state electronic switch for selectively connecting the heater to the source of electrical energy, and having a closed state wherein the heater is connected to the source of electrical energy and an open state wherein the heater is disconnected from the source of electrical energy, and wherein the solid state switch changes from the open state to the closed state when the temperature of the lubricant reaches a predetermined value.
