This invention hereafter referred to as "Device, Sensor, Unit or Apparatus", used interchangeably or otherwise, relates to a device used to test and detect the presence of a large range of gases, such as but not limited to Carbon Monoxide (CO), Propane(C3H8) and Methane (CH4). The device is designed to engage a Voice or Sound Alarm when a detection of an amount of gas or gases have reached harmful or undesired levels. An Alarm consists of words and sounds, featured either seperately or combined, pre-recorded or recordable by the user. The device has an end plug into which is built a battery, a loudspeaker, a circuit board, a gas sensor and a switch when passive and an extra switch when active. For the passive and active versions, the electrical circuit is activated by switch and by the sensing of gas, respectively. The circuit components are structurally integrated into the circuit board and need not be housed. When the device is housed, it will be produced and can be carried as a key chain or in other miniaturized forms, if so desired. Its miniaturized form also makes it possibe for the device to be integrated into current and future products or modes such as, but not limited to Stoves, Dryers, RV Equipment, Automobiles, Trucks, Buildings, Security Systems and Electrical Outlets.
