A casing structure for an electronic device comprises a carrier against which one or more of the devicve components may be fitted, the carrier having a first carrier face and a second carrier face, a first cover adapted to attach to the carrier to form a first enclosure over at least part of the first carrier face and a second c0ver adapted to attach to the carrier to form a second enclosure over at least part of the second carier face, wherein the carrier has a receptacle for receiving the first and second covers, the receptacle having a first recess for receiving a rim of the first cover and a second recess for receing a rim of te second cover, the receptable having in at least one of te first and secon recesses a cushioning layer for cushioning the cover received in the recess. An electronic device incorporating the casing structure is also described.

La présente invention concerne une structure de boîtier pour dispositif électronique qui comprend un support contre lequel peuvent être ajustés un ou plusieurs composants du dispositif, le support possédant une première face de support et une seconde face de support, un premier couvercle étant apte à être attaché au support pour former une première enceinte au-dessus d'au moins une partie de la première face du support et un second couvercle étant apte à être attaché au support pour former une seconde enceinte au-dessus d'au moins une partie de la seconde face du support, le support comprenant un réceptacle destiné à recevoir le premier et le second couvercle, le réceptacle comprenant une première cavité destinée à recevoir un bord du premier couvercle et une seconde cavité destinée à recevoir un bord du second couvercle, le réceptacle étant muni dans la première et/ou la seconde cavité d'une couche d'amortissement destinée à amortir le couvercle reçu dans la cavité. L'invention se rapporte également à un dispositif électronique dans lequel est incorporée la structure de boîtier précitée.
