ABSTRACT A drawing and printing apparatus is composed of electronic drawing means having manually operatable digitizing means for drawing a picture and generating digital image data of the picture. and printing means coupled to the electronic drawing means and installed in the same housing of the electronic drawing means for printing the picture based on the digital image data obtained from the electronic drawing means. The apparatus may further include image data memory means for storing the digital image data from the electronic drawing means and/or the digital image data from the analog to digital converting means. The printing means including a printing mechanism portion having a paper entrance in front of the printing mechanism portion and a ribbon cassette entrance at side of the printing mechanism portion. The printing means may further include print control switch means and print condition display means on top of the printing mechanism portion, a paper exit under the paper entrance and a transparent paper guide inserted between the paper entrance and the paper exit.
