2076870 9213436 PCTABS00014 A network control unit for monitoring and controlling all of the operational components of a facility management system, the unit including a modular base frame having a wiring board assembly mounted on the back, a number of termination board assemblies mounted on the front of the frame and being operably connected to the wiring board assembly, one or more function modules, digital control modules, expansion modules, and a network control module are mounted on the front of the frame and operably connected to the wiring board assembly. A power module is mounted on the front of the frame for each digital control module, expansion module and network control module with each power module being operably connected to the wiring board assembly. A power termination board is mounted on the frame and is connected to the wiring board assembly. A communication termination board is mounted on the frame and is operably connected to the network control module whereby input signals from the operational components of the facility management system are monitored by the modules and output signals from the modules are transmitted through the wiring board assembly to the operational components. Each of the function modules includes a printed circuit board having a connector at one end with the printed circuit board being movable on three axes for centering the connector on the wiring board assembly.
