ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An electronic ergometer whose housing accommodates therein, appropriately connected with each other, a transducer for converting the oscillations of the body center of gravity of an individual into an electrical signal, a pulse shaper, an adjustable high-frequency multivibrator, a frequency divider, a first counter, an indicator, a second counter, an adjustable timer, a register, a power indication enabling unit, an indic- ation switching unit, a low-frequency multivibrator, a mixer, the electronic ergometer further comprising an ECG sensing unit, an arrythmia signal generating means and a monostable multi- vibrator, a unit for enabling indication of power at which an arrythmia occurs, a storage unit, a reversible counter, a dis- tributor, a read-out unit and an OR circuit. The electronic ergometer permits to measure the magnitude of physical load (power) at which an arrythmia occurs. It is possible to deter- mine the work performed by an individual with due regard for the rate of movement and anthropometric parameters of the in- dividual. The electronic ergometer differentiates between dangerous and non-dangerous kinds of arrythmia. The non- dangerous kinds of arrythmia are recorded in memory with simul- taneous storing of the value of physical load at which they occurred while the dangerous kinds of arrythmia are immediately displayed with a simultaneous generation of a sound signal informing the individual of the need to relieve the physical load. As distinct from prior art devices, the herein disclosed electronic ergometer permits to simultaneously monitor the magnitude of physical load and heat activity in everyday life, while walking or jogging. This facilitates objective moni- toring of physical loads during preventive treatment or re- habilitation.
