Abstract The present invention provides an electronic housing for use in a load center as a method of removing electric potential from the electric distribution system. The housing includes a base defined by a rear wall integrally formed with upstanding end walls and side walls. A cover having a flange defines the edge of the cover. The flange mates with the top edge of the base in an abutting relationship. The cover is removably secured to the base. The base and cover are made of a conductive plastic composition. The composition includes a thermoplastic base resin and an effective amount of a conductive modifier to exhibit static dissipative properties and remove electric potential from the cover and the base. The static dissipative composition removes electric potential from the electronic housing.
