A method of cutting using an electronic paper cutting machine includes receiving a signal that a sheet of paper has been loaded; receiving a size of the sheet of paper, receiving at least one shape to be cut, receiving a size of the at least one shape to be cut, calculating the size of the shape relative to the size of the paper, determining whether the shape to be cut will fit within the sheet of paper, displaying an error message if the shape will not fit on the sheet and cutting the desired shape if the shape will fit on the sheet .

L'invention concerne un procédé de coupe utilisant une machine à couper le papier électronique. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à: recevoir un signal indiquant qu'une feuille de papier a été chargée; recevoir une dimension de la feuille de papier; recevoir au moins une forme à découper; recevoir une dimension de la ou des forme(s) à découper; calculer la dimension de la forme par rapport à celle du papier; déterminer si la forme à découper tient dans la feuille de papier; afficher un message d'erreur si la forme de tient pas dans la feuille; et découper la forme voulue si celle-ci tient dans la feuille.
