ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention is directed to an electronic parts mounting apparatus for mounting small electronic parts on a circuit board, or the like. The apparatus operates with an electronic parts collector which is composed of a band having numerous depressions or hollows for receiving the electronic parts provided at equal intervals along the band and covering tape for covering the depressions or hollows in the band. The collector is wound onto a storage reel on the machine and the machine intermittently advances the collector to a parts removal station. Between the storage reel and the removal station, the covering tape is removed from the collector, thus exposing the electronic parts contained in the depressions. At the removal station, a tool removes each part by means of a suction device and then transfers the part to a circuit board or the like. The machine is capable of operating con- tinuously and stably without any possibility of jamming of the parts.
