An electronic photo album is described (Fig. 3A). The electronic photo album provides a way to share electronic photographs with the same ease that regular photographs are shared. The electronic photo album includes a display (200) for reviewing the digital images and an interface (100) to receive images from a digital camera, a flash card, a floppy disc, and the like. The electronic photo album stores digital images internally in a mass storage device configured as a disc drive, flash ram, and the like. On command, the electronic photo album displays the stored images on the display (200) for people to look at and share. The photo album also provides image output capability for displaying the images on televisions, computer monitors, printers, etc.

L'invention se rapporte à un album à photos électronique (Fig. 3) qui permet de partager des photographies électroniques aussi facilement que cela est le cas pour des photographies traditionnelles. Cet album à photos électronique comprend un afficheur (200) conçu pour la visualisation des images numériques, une interface (100) conçue pour recevoir des images d'une caméra numérique, une carte flash, un disque souple ou analogue. L'album à photos électronique de cette invention permet de stocker des images numériques de manière interne sur un support mémoire de masse de type lecteur de disque, mémoire RAM flash ou analogue. Sur demande, l'album à photos électronique affiche les images mémorisées sur l'afficheur (200) de sorte que des personnes peuvent les regarder et les partager. Cet album à photos fournit un moyen d'afficher des images sur des télévisions, des écrans d'ordinateurs, des imprimantes, etc.
