ELECTRONIC PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER AND COUNTER DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A signal input from any desired source measures any desired unit of measurement from the source such as flow of fluid, gas, speed, etc., and records, counts and displays such measurement directly. Also the device can be programmed to turn OFF or shut down any electrically operated apparatus connected to the control output, such as selectively operated valves, motors, pumps and the like. When used with an elec- tronic programmable timer, the device not only counts the units of measurement and controls apparatus at preset times, or numbers of units, but can also print out information auto- matically or on demand. One embodiment can also reset or pre- set electrically operated apparatus connected to the control output, depending upon conditions and program instructions in a programmable controller connected within the circuit.
