A medical aid (110) is proposed, having an electrical power supply (130) and a display device (122) for visually displaying information. The display device (122) comprises a display (124) with at least one organic light-emitting material and is designed to be supplied with electrical power by means of the electrical power supply (130). The display device (122) furthermore comprises a drive apparatus (126), for driving the display (124), as well as a display driver (140). The drive apparatus (126) is designed to drive the display (124) in a regular operating mode in order to display the information. The drive apparatus (126) comprises a protective circuit (186) which is designed to monitor an electrical signal, which is provided by the electrical power supply (130), and to switch the display device (122) to a safe state in the event of any discrepancy of the electrical signal from a standard range.
L'invention concerne un accessoire médical (110) doté d'une alimentation en énergie électrique (130) et d'un dispositif d'affichage (122) pour représenter visuellement une information. Le dispositif d'affichage (122) comprend un écran (124) doté d'au moins un matériau organique électroluminescent, et il est conçu pour être alimenté en énergie électrique au moyen de l'alimentation en énergie électrique (130). Le dispositif d'affichage (122) comprend en outre un dispositif de commande (126) pour commander l'écran (124), ainsi qu'un pilote d'écran (140). Le dispositif de commande (126) est conçu pour, dans un mode de service normal, commander l'écran (124) pour représenter l'information.
