This rack (1) houses rackable modules (2, 3) of electronic equipment and has a natural convection cooling system thanks to ventilation holes (20, 21) made in its lower (10) and upper (11) walls and a forced-air cooling system thanks to internal air delivery rails (30) fed with pressurized air by means of a distribution box (31) connected to a forced-air circulation line (37). By using internal delivery rails for the forced air it is possible for the circulation of drawn air to be only a slight obstacle to the air circulation obtained by natural convection. Compared with standard configurations, this makes it possible to lower the operating temperature reached by the equipment in the event of a loss of forced ventilation.

Cette baie (1 ) loge des modules rackables (2, 3) d'appareillages électroniques et dispose d'un refroidissement par convection naturelle grâce à des orifices de ventilation (20, 21) pratiqués dans ses parois inférieure (10) et supérieure (11) et d'un refroidissement par air forcé grâce à des rampes internes (30) de distribution d'air alimentées en air sous pression par l'intermédiaire d'une boîte de répartition (31) raccordée à une canalisation de circulation d'air forcée (37). L'utilisation de rampes internes de distribution pour l'air forcé permet de réaliser une circulation d'air puisé ne faisant que peu obstacle à la circulation d'air obtenue par convection naturelle. Par rapport aux configurations habituelles, cela permet d'abaisser la température de fonctionnement atteinte par les équipements en cas de perte de la ventilation forcée.
