ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Lock box for use in a secure entry system comprising a case with a key compartment therein. The key compartment has at least a portion thereof movable between key retaining and key access positions. A shackle is mounted in the case and is movable between locked and unlocked positions. First and second electromagnetic latches are carried within the case for use in operation of the key compartment and the shackle respectively. A power supply is provided in the case. Circuitry is provided within the case connecting the power supply to the first and second electromagnetic latches. A keyboard is carred by the case and is accessible from the exterior of the case. The keyboard is connected to the circuit means for selectively operating the first and second electromagnetic latches.
