1 PHN 9404 ABSTRACT: An electronic switch having an input and an out- put. Between the input and output a semiconductor junc- tion is included, which is switched by a transistor whose emitter electrode is connected to that side of the semi- conductor junction which faces the input and whose base electrode is connected to a switching input. In order to prevent excessive switching delays as a result of stray capacitances on the inputs being charged and discharged, a resistor is included between the connecting point of the emitter of the transistor and the semiconductor junc- tion and the input, and the input is connected to a cur- rent source which is switched in synchronism with the transistor with such a current that the voltage swing produced across the resistor by the switched current source compensates for the voltage swing appearing on the emitter of the transistor during switching.
