An improved tambourine (10) of the type having a frame (12) being arcuate- shaped and including a center of gravity, a pair of rims (15), and a grasping portion (16) disposed at or near the center of gravity of the frame (12) so as to allow comfortable holding for long periods of time, and a plurality of jingle members (14) being affixed to the frame (12). The improvement includes an electronic sound pick-up apparatus (18). The electronic sound pick-up apparatus (18) is either an amplifier pick-up (20) or a midi pick-up (22). The amplifier pick-up (20) is disposed in the frame (12), opposite the grasping portion (16), and the midi pick-up (22) is disposed on the pair of rims (15) of the frame, to a side of the grasping portion (16). The improvement further includes soft pad beading (26) covering the pair of rims (15) of the frame.
La présente invention concerne un tambourin amélioré (10) de type à cadre (12) en forme d'arc comprenant un centre de gravité, une paire de cercles (15), et une partie de préhension (16) ménagée à proximité ou au niveau du centre de gravité du cadre (12) de manière à permettre un maintien confortable pendant un long moment, et plusieurs éléments grelots (14) fixés au cadre (12). L'amélioration consiste en un dispositif électronique enregistreur de sons (18). Ce dispositif (18) peut être un capteur amplificateur (20) ou un capteur midi (22). Le capteur amplificateur (20) est disposé dans le cadre (12), à l'opposé de la partie de préhension (16), et le capteur midi (22) est disposé sur la paire de cercles (15) du cadre, sur un côté de la partie de préhension (16). L'amélioration décrite dans cette invention consiste également en un palier à segments souples (26) recouvrant la paire de cercles (15) du cadre.
