ABSTRACT A method and apparatus are provided for monitoring a plurality of functions and conditions of heating circuits, including a plurality of sensors for producing sensor signals. The monitoring method comprises a ten channel electronic microprocessor based monitor which is fully field configurable or can be programmed and managed from a remote station, each inputs used to receive a selected one of the sensor signals. The module also has a processor which is responsive to the sensor signals at the inputs for producing display signals on a fully interactive display enabling the operator to track the status of all devices. The programming of the memory with data and instructions for monitoring the plurality of functions and conditions is done by the operator which has the ability to easily step through and modify the various set points and process parameters via the interface. The aforementioned monitoring module comprises the apparatus of the invention.
