- 17 - Abstract of the Disclosure A timer device is provided which includes a counter which counts output pulses from an oscillator, and, when counting the prescribed number of pulses, sends forth an output signal, a transistor rendered conductive in response to an output signal from the counter, and a relay energized when the transistor is rendered conductive. The timer device further includes a light-emitting diode connected in parallel with the current path of the transistor.
