ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides an electronic watch having a circuit base plate covered by a cover integrally molded to the base plate by a transfer molding process. The cover provides a connector opening for connection to a liquid crystal display, as well as protection for an integrated circuit mounted on the base plate. At the same time, openings are left in the cover- ing through which solder connections to large electrical com- ponents such as quartz crystals and condensers may be made. Excellent insulation, water-proofing and heat resistance are obtained.
