In an electronically commutated motor (M), rotor position signals are generated by means of a galvanomagnetic rotor position sensor (40). A timer (CNT_HL) brings about an advanced commutation which occurs only once the motor has reached a specific rotation speed, and whose magnitude is a function of the rotation speed.

L'invention concerne un moteur à commutation électronique (M), dans lequel des signaux de position de rotor sont produits au moyen d'un détecteur de position de rotor (40) galvanomagnétique. Selon l'invention, un temporisateur (CNT_HL) assure une commutation prématurée qui se produit uniquement à partir d'une vitesse de rotation déterminée du moteur, et dont la grandeur est fonction de la vitesse de rotation.
