A B S T R A C T Electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. An electronically controlled continuously variable transmis- sion (1) provided with a driving belt (7), which is disposed between a primary pulley provided on a primary shaft (2) and a secondary pulley provided on a secondary shaft (8), whereby each pulley has corresponding conical pulley halves and at least one of said corresponding pulley halves is axially movable by means of primary (29) and secondary (74) moving means connected to a primary pulley half (3, 4) and a secondary pulley half (9, 10) respectively, characterized in that the transmission is provided with primary electronic control means (6) coupled to the primary moving means (29), and with secondary electronic control means (12) coupled to the secondary moving means (74).
