ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED MATCHING CIRCUIT Abstract of the Disclosure An electronically controlled matching circuit for coupling RF (radio frequency) energy between a loop antenna and RF circuitry. The matching circuit comprises a varactor diode connected in series with the RF energy and a fixed capacitor shunting one end of the diode to ground. This provides good matching when the loop antenna is physically much smaller than one half wavelength. - i -
