ABSTRACT This invention enables a pumping system to be fitted to a motor vehicle, allowing for a far greater capacity of washer fluid to be stored. The system is electronically controlled, and is able to detect when fluid is lost from the factory fitted container due to usage. Fluid which is stored in a large container in the trunk automatically replenishes the supply in the factory fitted window washer bottle, therefore enabling a greater degree of maintenance free driving.
