The invention relates to an electrophotographic printing device with a developer unit and a photoconductor, whereby said photoconductor is either directly connected to a substrate to be printed in the region of a transfer zone, or is connected by means of an intermediate circuit of one or several transfer media, whereby at least one charging means is provided for the substrate and the substrate may be transported through the transfer zone by means of a transport device. According to the invention, an effective transfer of toner to the substrate surface can be achieved with such an arrangement, even in the case of a poor electrically-conducting and thick-walled, sheet- like substrate, whereby a charging means is arranged as the primary charging means in the transport direction and a secondary charging means is arranged in the region after the transfer zone and both primary and secondary charging means affect the surface of the substrate to be printed.
L'invention concerne un système d'impression électrophotographique comprenant une unité de développement et un photoconducteur, lequel est relié directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'un ou de plusieurs supports de transfert à un substrat à imprimer au niveau d'une zone de transfert, au moins un moyen de chargement étant associé au substrat et ce dernier pouvant être transporté à travers la zone de transfert au moyen d'un dispositif de transport. Selon l'invention, un transfert effectif du toner sur la surface du substrat peut être obtenu avec ce type de système, y compris en présence de substrats de type plaques présentant une conductivité électrique médiocre et des parois épaisses, par la mise en place d'un moyen de chargement primaire dans le sens du transport en amont et d'un deuxième moyen de chargement en aval de la zone de transfert, les moyens de chargement primaire et secondaire affectant tous deux la surface du substrat à imprimer.
