The invention concerns an aqueous composition comprising carbon nanotubes and a surfactant, characterized in that the carbon nanotubes are single-wall hydrophobic nanotubes and in that the surfactant is chosen among electropolymerizable surfactant monomers of formula (I): X-Y-Z wherein: X is an electropolymerizable moiety selected from the group consisting of pyrrole, acetylene, phenol, aniline, thiophene, carbazole, indole and azulene Y is a hydrophobic hydrocarbon chain and Z is a polar group selected from the group consisting of quaternary ammonium salts, alkylphosphonates and sulfonates. The invention also relates to a method for the preparation of an aqueous composition as described above, comprising the following steps: i) solubili-sation of the surfactant monomer, ii) addition of the single-wall carbon nanotubes in the aqueous solution comprising said surfac-tant monomer, (iii) sonication of the resulting solution, and, optionally (iv) addition of a protein.

L'invention concerne une composition aqueuse comprenant des nanotubes de carbone et un agent tensioactif, caractérisée en ce que les nanotubes de carbone sont des nanotubes hydrophobes à paroi unique et en ce que l'agent tensioactif est choisi parmi les monomères tensioactifs électropolymérisables de formule (I) : X-Y-Z où X est un fragment électropolymérisable choisi dans le groupe constitué de pyrrole, d'acétylène, de phénol, d'aniline, de thiophène, de carbazole, d'indole et d'azulène, Y est une chaîne hydrocarbure hydrophobe et Z est un groupe polaire choisi dans le groupe constitué des sels d'ammonium quaternaire, des alkylphosphonates et des sulfonates. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation d'une composition aqueuse telle que décrite ci-dessus, comprenant les étapes suivantes : i) solubilisation du monomère tensioactif, ii) addition des nanotubes de carbone à paroi unique à la solution aqueuse contenant ledit monomère tensioactif, iii) sonication de la solution obtenue et éventuellement (iv) addition d'une protéine.
