An eyewear has a gasket (53) between the user and lenses (56) that electrostatically filterlthe air flow of particulate while still permitting a gentle flow of air to maintain comfort to the wearer of the eyewear, and prevent fogging on the lenses. The electret filter material (59) forms a perimeter around the eyes and lenses (56) to remove, small to large particulates, from microns to millimeters. The filters (51, 59) can be formed with a choice of face contact gasket, baffles, coarse filters, and electret filter density.! Baffles or coarse filters over the electret filters are used to protect the electret filter from damage from larger particles and transfer heat to the airflow.

L'invention porte sur des lunettes munies d'un joint filtrant placé entre la face de l'utilisateur et les verres, qui filtre électrostatiquement les particules présentes dans l'air tout en maintenant une légère circulation d'air assurant le confort du porteur et empêchant les verres de s'embuer. Un joint filtrant d'électret entourant des yeux et des verres arrête les particules petites ou grosses allant du micron au millimètre. Le joint filtrant peut comporter un choix de joint de contact, de chicanes, de filtres grossiers et de filtres d'électret de différentes densités. Les chicanes ou les filtres grossiers placés sur les filtres d'électret les protègent contre les grosses particules et contre les transferts thermiques sur la circulation d'air.
