To provide a toner including: toner particles which comprise: a colorant, a releasing agent, and a binder resin, wherein the number average diameter of the toner particles is in the range of from 3.5 µm to 6.5 µm where the number average diameter (D1) is determined by the Coulter method, the variation coefficient of the number distribution of the toner particles is in the range of 22.0 to 35.0 where the variation coefficient is found by dividing the standard deviation of the number distribution by the number average diameter (D1), and 40% by number to 59% by number of the toner particles are in 4.0 µm to 8.0 µm in diameter.

La présente invention a pour but de mettre à disposition un toner incluant : des particules de toner qui comprennent : un colorant, un agent de libération et une résine de liaison. Dans ledit toner, le diamètre moyen numérique des particules de toner est de l'ordre de grandeur de 3,5 µm à 6,5 µm, où le diamètre moyen numérique (D1) est déterminé par le procédé de Coulter, le coefficient de variation de la distribution numérique des particules de toner est de l'ordre de grandeur de 22,0 à 35,0, où le coefficient de variation est trouvé en divisant la déviation standard de la distribution numérique par le diamètre moyen numérique (D1), et 40 % en nombre à 59 % en nombre des particules de toner ont un diamètre de 4,0 µm à 8,0 µm.
