ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an electrophotographic apparatus comprising a photoconductor member having a photo- conductive surface layer and a conducting inner substrate. The surface layer is uniformly charged and then exposed to an optically created image to selectively discharge the surface layer. The latent electrostatic image on the surface layer is then transferred to a dielectric member, toned, and transferred to a receptor.
