ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An electrostatic printing arrangement in which a photo- negative is placed around a transparent cylindrical drum within which a light source extends axially. Light from the source projects the photonegative onto a photosensitive data carrier which moves in sychronism with rotation of the drum. A screen is placed between the drum and carrier to allow only a portion of the photonegative to be projected at any instant. An objective lens may be positioned in the light path or the carrier may be directly adjacent the drum.
