This invention relates to improving the separation efficiency in a triboelectric separator (44) by adding media (60) against which the components of the mixture will charge. As a result, random charging between the components of the mixture is reduced and controlled, and predictable charging is achieved.

Cette invention porte sur l'amélioration du rendement de séparation d'un séparateur (44) triboélectrique, et sur un procédé consistant à ajouter un milieu (60) au contact duquel les composants du mélange se chargeront.
