Disclosed are electrostatically-sprayable topical compositions, more particularly topical emulsion compositions, and methods of treating the skin by electrostatic application of such compositions. In one aspect the composition comprises an insulating external phase comprising one or more insulating materials and a conductive internal phase comprising one or more conductive materials. The compositions preferably also contain one or more particulate materials to be deposited on the skin, e.g., pigments, inert absorbents and the like.
L'invention concerne des compositions topiques aptes à la pulvérisation électrostatique, plus particulièrement des compositions topiques en émulsion, ainsi que des procédés pour le traitement de la peau par application électrostatique de ces compositions. Selon un aspect de l'invention, la composition comporte une phase externe isolante comprenant une ou plusieurs substances isolantes et une phase interne conductrice comprenant une ou plusieurs substances conductrices. Les compositions selon l'invention contiennent de préférence également une ou plusieurs substances particulaires qui sont déposées sur la peau, telles que pigments, absorbants inertes et autres du même genre.
