A stainless steel electrosurgical blade has a single uniform layer of release material comprising substantially silicone (polysiloxane) applied directly onto the stainless steel blade portion without the necessity of one or more coatings of primer material(s), or multiple layering of the release material or mechanical roughening of the metallic blade body. Adherence of the release coating is achieved by thermally oxidizing the blade body, after cleaning it. The uniform layer is created by dipping the blade body. The release material is preferably thermally cured and non-blooming.
L'invention concerne une lame d'électrochirurgie en acier inoxydable, comprenant une couche uniforme unique de matière anti-adhésive essentiellement à base de silicone (polysiloxane) appliquée directement sur la lame en acier inoxydable sans qu'il y ait besoin d'un ou plusieurs revêtements de matière(s) primaire(s), de superposition de matière anti-adhésive ou de traitement mécanique destiné à rendre la lame métallique rugueuse. L'adhérence de ce revêtement non-adhésif est obtenue par oxydation thermique de la lame, après son nettoyage. Cette couche uniforme est obtenue par trempage de la lame. Cette matière anti-adhésive est de préférence traitée thermiquement et ne présente pas d'efflorescences.
