ELECTROVISCOUS FLUID ABSTRACT The electroviscous fluid according to the present invention comprises a dispersion of wet-method particles having an average particle diameter of 10 to 500 micrometers and having a pH of not greater that 6.5 in an electrically insulating fluid. The fluid of this invention are characterized by a substantial increase in yield value at low voltages and excellent shear stability.
