ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A chair-lift cab for a telpher line comprising: a hanger, a seat frame suspended from the hanger and including a pair of spaced supports, a seat supported by the frame and positioned with one of the supports at each side of the seat, a supporting bow connected to the seat frame about a first pivot means, the bow having portions projecting forwardly of the first pivot means, a protection shell connected at its intermediate portion by second pivot means to the forwardly projecting portions of said bow, and a pair of coupling arms disposed one of each side of the shell, each coupling arm having one end pivotably connected to one of the supports and another end pivotably connected to an upper portion of the shell.
