TITLE ELEVATING HAND TRUCK WITH POWERED TRANSPORTER INVENTORS Peter Kenneth Jeavons William Harold Hughes ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An elevating hand truck preserves the relative relation between load and main frame, yet allows relative migration of the wheels along the hand truck, under the influence of a prime mover, so that the hand truck can be used as an elevating hand truck for elevating loads from one elevation to another without the need to manhandle the load. This is achieved by requiring the wheels of the hand truck to act as a moving fulcrum along but within the extent of the frame of the truck and to require the load to be fixedly engaged onto the truck frame. With a transporter forming a 2 wheel dolly accessory, the transporter articulates with the relative positional location of the hand truck wheels so that in one position it is an inclined transporter for the truck, and its load, and in another position as a horizontal transporter therefore. In this latter position the truck and load display a reduced profile so as to allow conveyance under counters and other low barriers. The dolly accessory also folds away into the truck frame for storage when not in use.
