An elongated lighting system that is modular, being of discrete length having a plurality of LEDs on an elongated support. The system has LEDs connected to a pair of electrical conductors having a length equal to, or less than the discrete length of the elongated lighting system. The elongated lighting system is moulded and embedded into transparent, opaque, semi-transparent, or mixed transparent and opaque plastic module connected to an electrical source.

L'invention porte sur un système d'éclairage allongé, modulaire, de longueur discontinue et possédant une pluralité de diodes électroluminescentes sur un support allongé. Le système comporte des diodes électroluminescentes raccordées à une paire de conducteurs électriques de longueur égale ou inférieure à la longueur discontinue du système d'éclairage allongé. Ce système d'éclairage est moulé et encastré dans un module en plastique transparent, opaque, semi-transparent ou dans un module en plastique mixte, transparent et opaque, raccordé à une source électrique.
