A method for producing elongated wood units comprises the step to apply at least one cut making an angle of substantially 45° with an elongated surface of an elongated starting wood piece while separating a wood piece therefrom, and the step to connect the wood piece so separated to other wood pieces obtained through carrying out the first step for a said elongated starting wood piece for forming a wood unit.

Méthode de fabrication d'assemblages de bois allongés dont la première étape consiste à tailler au moins une coupe faisant un angle de 45 degrés essentiellement avec la surface allongée d'une pièce de départ allongée tout en séparant une pièce de bois de cette dernière, et dont la deuxième étape consiste à relier la pièce de bois ainsi séparée à d'autres pièces de bois obtenues en réalisant la première étape dans le cas de ladite pièce de départ allongée pour former un assemblage de bois.
