An embodiment is a catheter comprising a first elongate shaft (302) having a proximal end, a distal end and a first lumen therethrough, a wire (314) having a proximal end and a distal end at least partially disposed in the first elongate shaft, the distal end extending distally from the first elongate shaft, and a motion control apparatus connected to the proximal end of the wire, further comprising a device (304) attached to the distal end of the wire for changing the shape of an embolus, wherein the device is configured to change the shape of the embolus to unclog a distal catheter lumen.
Selon une variante, l'invention concerne un cathéter qui comprend un premier axe allongé à extrémité proximale, extrémité distale et première lumière le traversant, un fil à extrémités proximale et distale au moins partiellement situé dans ce premier axe, l'extrémité distale s'étendant selon une orientation distale depuis ledit axe, et un contrôleur de mouvement relié à l'extrémité proximale du fil.
