ABSTRACT An emergency shelter is comprised of a shell formed of accordion-pleated folded material, and at least one form retaining structure having a width the dimension of which is the width of the shelter once erected and having saw-toothed edges which match opposite surfaces of walls of the shelter once it has been erected, whereby the form retaining structure can be used as a fixed separator for the walls along the bottom edges thereof and form a floor or an underlay for a floor for the shelter.
