This invention provides an improvement to an existing patent, to create an Emergency Floatation Device for a snowmobile, in order to enhance the prospects of survival for the riders should their snowmobile become submerged in cold water after breaking through thin ice. The floatation bladders are designed to be inflated with the use of compressed CO2 gas. The manual activation of the inflating system will expand a series of three individual bladders, which are strategically placed and integrated within the body of the snowmobile, providing buoyancy to the machine and safety to the riders, as well as activating an emergency distress signaling device.
