Hydrocarbon oil-in-water emulsions, particularly those containing less than 1 ppm of sodium ions, provide a novel fuel for use in gas turbines. Relatively high efficiency combined with low cost represents significant benefits when utilising such emulsions as gas turbine fuel.

Les émulsions huile dans l'eau d'hydrocarbures, particulièrement celles qui contiennent moins de 1 ppm d'ions sodium, constituent un carburant nouveau, destiné aux turbines à gaz. Un rendement relativement élevé, combiné à un faible coût, représente des avantages importants, lors de l'utilisation de ces émulsions comme combustible pour turbine à gaz.
