EMULSIONS CONTAINING MODIFIED AMINOORGANOSILOXANE IMPART REDUCED YELLOWING WHEN USED AS FABRIC SOFTENERS ABSTRACT Process for preparing a modified aminoorganosiloxane emulsion having improved non-yellowing properties comprising reacting (a) a dialkyl pyrocarbonate, (b) a dialkyl oxalate, or (c) a mixture thereof with an aminoorganosiloxane in an aqueous emulsion in which (a), (b) or (c) ranges from about 0.1% to 15% based on the weight of aminoorganosiloxane in the emulsion.
