PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente demande a pour objet un procédé énantiosélectif pour préparer des dérivés de l'aldéhyde hémicaronique de formule (I): (I) Image caractérisés en ce que R représente un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alcoyle renfermant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone ou un radical aryle renfermant jusqu'à 12 atomes de carbone, racémiques ou optiquement actifs et de configuration cis ou trans, au départ d'un ester de l'acide diméthyl 2,2-diméthyl 1,3-dioxolane dicarboxylique ainsi que les produits inter- médiaires utiles pour leur préparation. Le procédé de l'invention permet l'accès énantiosélectif à toutes les structures isomériques possibles des dérivés de formule (I).
